Currently SM listens for TopologyEvents MemberStarted, MemberActivated, MemberSuspended and MemberTerminated. I have implemented a full event processor chain which we can use to listen to other TopologyEvents as and when we need in future.
+1 for keeping the partition information as well, this would be useful for monitoring purposes as you mentioned. I'll proceed with persisting relevant member information, will update the DB schema accordingly.
