Hi Devs, I found several unclear points while preparing for the 4.0.0-rc1 release and spent considerable amount of time trying to figure out the correct procedure, specially with uploading artefacts to maven snapshot and staging repositories with maven release plugin.
Therefore I thought it would be really useful if we create a Wiki page [1] with the exact steps for doing a release so that we could simply follow it on the next release.
