Development of StreamPark 2.2 version has been accumulating for three years now, and we must move forward decisively. After evaluating our project positioning, core features, and the current active developer community, we need to refine the feature set for this release. Below is my proposed feature list for this version:
1. SSO support 2. pyflink support 3. spark support These features have been in development for at least one year since their initial PR submission, with SSO functionality exceeding two years. The time has come to officially release these capabilities, particularly the Spark and pyflink support. While StreamPark has consistently positioned itself as offering comprehensive Flink and Spark support, our platform still lacks PyFlink job submission capability, and Spark functionality remains incomplete. These features have become particularly critical in today's AI-driven development landscape. That said, these PRs still require additional work including functional testing, verification, and documentation updates. Going forward, we will prioritize resolving blocking issues to ensure this version's release. We plan to release this version within the next two months(< 2025/06/30).
