I agree with you that it's time for shipping the 0.90.0 release.
The only open issue that I would like to see in this release is #769
(improving our tutorials).
Is there anyone who may contribute here?
I'm already looking forward to our first release as a TLP.

I’d volunteer as a release manager for the next release (in case no
one else wants to do it 😉) and we could cut the release branch in a
few days.
