For those who may be curious, highlights of this source release include: - Elimination of virtually all known vulnerable dependencies - A number of new contrib data providers and processors - Upgrades to several core libraries - Accommodates ASF Infra changes to Jenkins and Gitbox - Support for JDK8, JDK11, and JDK17 (convenience binaries built with JDK17)
With this release complete, I intend to shift focus to my proposed new North Star, building a full-featured ActivityPub server to be released in binary and container form. I sincerely hope many of you will embark on this pivot with me. I’m very excited about it and believe whole-heartedly it can become an essential building block of the rapidly growing fediverse ecosystem. Steve
