But the stated issues are real problems. I'm currently evaluating Struts advanced features like tiles, plug-ins, etc. for new projects for application that will produce more presentation languages than HTML, like Voice-XML or others all based on strict XML applications, and, at the opposite of what smart html browsers do, XML parsers are generally more rigourous ! I do know why '<' or such characters are encoded, but i also like to know why others are not...
