http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=30367 use of more validation.xml [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |INVALID ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-07-28 16:06 ------- Virtually everyone who uses validator probably has at least two validation xml files as I'm sure you did in the version that worked - the *standard* validation-rules.xml plus your own custom validation.xml. So the problem is not having more than one. Quite what your problem is no-one can tell because you don't give enough information - saying "my application doesn't start" isn't enough. Check your logs for error messages, check that the second validation2.xml file is a correctly formed xml file according to the tld for validator. Just because something doesn't work, doesn't mean its a *bug* in Struts and more often than not its something we've done wrong. Rather than raising a *bug* report against Struts could you please post problems like this to the user list first. Raising *Bugs* is not the best way to get help - asking questions on the user list is.
