I am reopening this enhancement request and has uploaded an updated version of ActionDispatcher. This update: -> fixes a small bug in the original -> supports only the functionality already in DispatchAction and MappingDispatchAction I've tested the updated version and it works as advertised for me. In addition, I have created and tested a subclass which implements an updated SIMPLE_FLAVOR based on the latest recommendations. I can upload that extension as well if desired.
