http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=31790 The JavaScript function validateDate() does not distinguish between datePattern and datePatternStrict [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|RESOLVED |REOPENED Resolution|INVALID | ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-11-01 17:07 ------- I'm also having problems with this in 1.2.4. The javascript that's generated from the html:javascript creates a function validateDate(...). That function does have a check to get the correct datePattern or datePatternStrict object. However, it seems that the generated regular expressions are the problem: dateRegexp = new RegExp("^(\\d{2})[" + delim1 + "](\\d{2})[" + delim2 + "](\\d {4})$"); The \\d{2} enforces datePatternStrict. For datePattern, I think we'll need \\d {1,2}. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
