One would think since I already wrote that code it wouldn't be a big hassle to add (he said, knowing Murphy probably has something else to say on the subject!) But, putting that aside for a moment... I think it can be argued that this particular patch still makes sense... as I understand it, and perhaps I don't because I just looked at it for the first time, RedirectAction is for doing a redirect, as the name says... what if you want to, or maybe even have to for some reason, do a forward? This patch would give you that capability, and unless I'm missing something, you would have to do it manually as things stand now. I suppose it could be argued that a new subclass of ActionForward with these capabilities might make sense, but I would think that's a bit too heavy.
