Good. :) Maven does some odd things sometimes, but I was having trouble explaining this one. Double check that you've got the project.xml updates with the right things in <siteAddress> and <siteDirectory>, and then try out 'maven site:deploy' . Neat. :) What do you think about adding this to the nightly build script? $ cd shale/build $ maven multiproject:site site:sshdeploy There's one issue in Clay: tar complains about a few files with a path longer than 100 characters. I think they're probably Javadoc pages that won't get updated.
