* Java 1.5 is required to build the Struts 2 distribution from source, but Java 1.4 is targeted for the binary JARs. The struts2-parent pom is targetting JDK 1.5. I know there was talk of using RetroWeaver or RetroTranslator, but AFAIK it's not done yet.
