I can't find the maven plugin for apt, do you have a link? They do have
an AlmostPlainText(apt also) plugin. The tobago project has an apt
plugin(looks good):

I don't know if we are actually using Ant itself for
anything now.
AFAIK, everything is based on Maven 2. Even so, we
don't have any
compunctions about using beta tools to build the
framework.
