Last year I reported a fault with the Token Session Interceptor http://jira.opensymphony.com/browse/WW-1404 along with a link to the discussion of how to resolve it http://forums.opensymphony.com/thread.jspa?threadID=53319&tstart=0.
Since then it has been merged into Struts 2 in March, and marked as resolved https://issues.apache.org/struts/browse/WW-1787 The fix that seems to have gone in appears to be the same one I made in my forum post. That the old request and response are replaced with those from the current context. I wasn't all confident that this was the best solution, or in fact even worked. My reasons for posting to the Struts 2 list are to ask if any Struts 2 developers appraised this fix before it was merged from WebWork or have tested that it works? If not are there any suggestions on a workable solution and should this issue be reopened?
