Paul, hats off to you. Fixing all of these "better error reporting" tickets is
going to make a HUGE improvement to Struts.

You are rocking on the Struts 1.x code. Just wanted to send my praise.

James

> As per http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=24099, due to this
> cumulative error, I didn't even search in the right place to find the problem.
> Suggestion: it would have been very helpful, if the error message also would
> say
> which *.java / *.class file is not found and the ease of use of struts would
> be
> greatly increased. Thx
> Full error message was:
> HTTP Status 500 - No action instance for path /doubleString could be created
> type Status report
> message No action instance for path /doubleString could be created
> description The server encountered an internal error (No action instance for
> path /doubleString could be created) that prevented it from fulfilling this
> request.
