I've got a first pass attempt at documenting some of the kinds of things anyone attempting to use the new OGNL 2.7 compilation features will need to know completed:
http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/WW/OGNL+Expression+Compilation I'm not sure where these conversations should take place but it would be preferable to have them in some kind of public/archived list to reduce any duplication of efforts. (like the opensymphony OGNL dev forum? http://forums.opensymphony.com/forum.jspa?forumID=16 ) It would be better for anyone starting off with this work to begin with the 2.7.1-SNAPSHOT version of OGNL so that any changes/bug fixes made can be deployed immediately (snapshot repo listed on the bottom of new wiki page). We can release the next version whenever anyone wants so hopefully that will reduce the worry of a long drawn out dev cycle. Please feel free to forward this message to any opensymphony/struts friendly projects that might not see/read this message as I don't plan on announcing any of this publicly. (not that I wouldn't help anyone who asked, just that I don't want the whole world to think I've volunteered to give them extensive personal assistance in whatever random project they want to use it in.) -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/OGNL-Documentation-Ready-for-integration-assistance-tf4080100.html#a11596818 Sent from the Struts - Dev mailing list archive at Nabble.com. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
