Looking at Dispatcher.java: public HashMap<String,Object> createContextMap(Map requestMap, Map parameterMap, Map sessionMap, Map applicationMap, HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response, ServletContext servletContext) { HashMap<String,Object> extraContext = new HashMap<String,Object>(); extraContext.put(ActionContext.PARAMETERS, new HashMap(parameterMap)); extraContext.put(ActionContext.SESSION, sessionMap);
why are the parameters wrapped on a new Map? I would say to prevent people from adding/removing form it, but is there any good reason for that? (users can always get "#parameters" from the context and modify them anyway) musachy -- "Hey you! Would you help me to carry the stone?"
