I have had an issue for ages that if I add an error to an action (eg
eventAdd) and then chain to the action (eg myEvents) the execute() would
not be called. I have always had to check for action errors and call the
execute() manually:
// On chain make sure execute is called
if (hasActionErrors()) {
execute();
}
<action name="eventAdd!*" method="{1}"
class="ui.struts2.editor.EventAdd">
<result name="error" type="chain">myEvents</result>
</action>
<action name="myEvents!*" method="{1}"
class="ui.struts2.editor.MyEvents">
<result name="input" type="tiles">.myEvents</result>
<result name="list" type="tiles">.myEvents</result>
<result name="error" type="chain">myEvents</result>
</action>
This seems to have been fixed, so thanks! :)
