I've added a check for this condition in r959004. Will propose for backport to 1.6.x, too. Just to be clear, Servatius, we don't support the use of the --reintegrate option with 2-URL merges. You've managed to point out (perhaps inadvertantly) that our client doesn't complain when you try to do that, though, so that's what I've fixed here. You might want to talk through (over on our users@ list) whatever scenario led you to attempt this type of merge: what situation merits it, what you expected to happen, etc. -- C.
