The general ambivalence toward buildbot failures on the 1.6.x branch is due (at least for me) to the fact that some of the build slaves aren't configured to properly build the branch, so they *always* fail.
However, I can reproduce the authz failure on the 1.6.x branch, which is a bit disconcerting. That will have to be fixed before any 1.6.13 release.
