Furthermore, if the user wants to set their own custom revprops that have nothing to do with svn:author (e.g., svn:federation-id) and end up with a practice by convention rather than by server fiat that tools like reposurgeon can understand, there's plenty of ways for the user *or the server* to add in additional revprops as well. Plus, since revprops aren't versioned, they can always be fixed up after-the-fact to include appropriate svn:federation-id tags...finally, a "feature" of revprops not being versioned! -- justin
