I have had elaborate discussion with Stephan and Daniel and some more people on the IRC chat regarding the bindings project for swig. Thus,Having been in discussion with the mentors from the apache subversion organization, i decided my project to handle the python bindings problem in swig. I searched extensively and found that the most extensive documentation lies for ruby and pearl swig bindings. Pearl major-ly because it is so closely analogous to swig. Python on the other hand being a natural language is a little more difficult to map and thus needs a lot of work. As a part of my intial contribution , i have analysed the documentations for pearl and ruby and am mapping the recorded errors for both, thus figuring that the same structs need to be fixed for python too. I would thus as an intern under this project if given an opportunity like to work on the same and thus code and document the required APIs.
