Moin has this unfortunate habit of scanning *every* registered user when saving a page. With 1.7M spam accounts ... well, you can see the issue :-) He moved moin to a box with SSDs for faster I/O and nuked all inactive accounts. Win! (moin has been hitting Infra with downtime, so this *also* helps us, in addition to all moin users; just needed somebody/time to dig into the "why") Cheers, -g
