I've been meaning to do this for a while. In short: this is a faster, sleeker newer, sexier version of utf8proc. It fixes a couple of nasty bugs compared to the previous 1.1.5 and supports Unicode 9.0. Also proposed a backport to 1.9.x. -- Brane
