I had a little chat with Infra over on Slack and Humbedooh. They typically require a R/W Git repo, but he understood my argument that it might be difficult to sell this idea to the community so he did a hard-coded one-off for us.
Notifications seems to come in on the notifications@-list right now so I suppose everything is as it should be. They are now triggered by asfgit which seems logical.
