if you add jk to move up/down, i would prefer hl to move left/right and
H/L for history.

Regarding you're question: I believe surf should be a tool which works
everywhere the same. It is very easy to change keybindings by patching
the source, so no, I have no plans to make surf more customizable. But
I'm willing to include patches if I like them :)

Alright then. I'm going to look at the source tonight hopefully and come up with
a patch so that j & k move up and down, h & l move forwards or backwards in
history, / opens search, o opens the url bar, and r and R reload the page.
