[dev] st -e not working?

Using st 0.1.1 and the -e switch appears to not be working. As test cases I ran
st -e ls
st -e "ls"
st -e echo hello
st -e "echo hello"
and a few others, but nothing seemed to work. Has this not been
implemented yet? Or am I doing something wrong? This makes it
impossible to download files using surf/st/wget.
