The  tty  size  is different from the window size. The pty device gets a
different size defined than what the window is. This is needed in custom
geometry  definitions  and when the window manager isn’t respecting st’s
size hints. If the real width and height isn’t kept artefacts  will  re‐
main on the unused borders.
