Hi folks, This SIP aims to enhance the UX around the selection of visualizations in superset, by making it easier to understand what each visualization does, and which one might best suit your use case. This is all part of an effort to help educate new users, and reduce time-to-dashboard for more proficient users. Some engineering work toward the layout and features of the UI/design proposal is already underway. There’s still plenty of opportunity to weigh in on how things might get categorized, and where we might draw the line in what we consider a distinct chart for the gallery. Some of this is a longer effort, and surely may evolve over time, but hopefully we can reach some alignment here and put it up for a VOTE soon!
