Hugh, a couple comments:
First, we currently have 7 (!) SIPs tagged as SIP-88
(https://github.com/apache/superset/search?q=sip-88&type=issues). We
need to fix those numbers.
Second and more importantly, before calling for a vote you should call
for a discussion on the SIP. See the guidelines in SIP-0:
