I’m glad to hear you want to pick up the SIP! Since that SIP was abandoned due 
to 6 months of inactivity, you’re welcome to either open a new one (updating 
details as you see fit) or just commenting on the existing GitHub thread, so we 
can re-open it and you can take it under your wing. From there, SIP-0 has steps 
for the rest of the process, but you can ping us (or me!) for help on slack, on 
the GitHub thread, in our SIP Review meetings or Town Hall (see calendar), or 
here if those avenues don’t work. If you already have code that’s working the 
way you’d like it, you can also open a Draft PR to link to in the discussion as 
a POC, which will probably help move it along swiftly.
