Hi all, I’d like to take a vote on SIP 181 regarding the API Semantic Versioning Policy, which establishes clearer guarantees around API stability and compatibility for usage outside of the Superset UI.
As Superset adoption continues to grow across embedded analytics, programmatic integrations, SDKs, AI/agent workflows, and external applications, having predictable and non-breaking API versioning becomes increasingly important for both the community and downstream adopters. This SIP aims to provide a more stable foundation for those use cases while giving contributors a clearer framework for evolving APIs over time.
