Hi all, I'd like to start a discussion on a SIP that adds a new Spreadsheet chart type to Superset, built on Univer (Apache-2.0). In Explore, chart authors get a full spreadsheet editor over the query result: formulas, cell formatting, renamed headers, pivot headers and Excel-style row groups with subtotals. The edits are saved with the chart and reapplied on top of fresh data, and on dashboards the chart shows as a read-only sheet. Excel export goes through the existing backend chart-data path, so the downloaded file matches what is on screen. Univer is lazy-loaded in its own chunk, so it adds nothing to the main bundle.
The proposal, with screenshots, design details, dependencies and the planned PRs, is here: https://github.com/apache/superset/issues/45265 I'd appreciate any feedback, especially on bundle size, the saved-state format, and whether this belongs in core or as an external plugin. Thanks, Arabbek Tulanboyev
