Heya! I’ve already weighed in a bit on the PR thread, and can weigh in some more if needed.
I think a couple of things: 1) I think it should probably be just another option on the existing time range selector. 2) Having more than one temporal range picker is likely to be confusing, i.e. not realizing they’re both there, not knowing when/why to choose which, or how to migrate between them. I’m also not sure what bugs/complexities arise if you use BOTH at the same time, but… I’ll bet there’s something 3) It would be ideal if these were an extension interface - this is what I was hoping for all along. Nobody can agree on what the date picker should be as a one-size-fits-all, so it’s the perfect reason to have options/alternatives 4) If it does get moved into the main time range selector, I’d be open to a config somewhere of which tab is default, so people can pick this calendar as the main/default, or anything else they’d prefer.
