john-bodley commented on issue #4169: Dashboard Filtering Issue across different data sources URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-superset/issues/4169#issuecomment-372751566 @kkalyan I believe this change is a side effect of the caching restructure (cc @mistercrunch) however one could argue showing ?No data? is more accurate than failing gracefully as users could misinterpret the results as they would be unaware that the filters weren?t functioning. Note we?re working on a dashboard redesign which includes a better UX this type of situation.
