Hi All,

Thanks, Chris and Jeff for sharing this with me.

Thanks for sharing these thoughts, Max!

Since this is an open source project I personally feel Superset should have
a neutral brand color which is why we moved away from Airbnb's "babu" or
green color.

I personally don’t think a somber theme is needed for Superset to be
effective at communicating data. I think we can collectively align on
something that helps the tool feel modern without being somber or
distracting the viewer from the data. A modern turquoise could be okay. It
is a fairly standard color for analytics tools. However, everything out
there these days is green and blue.

I believe Superset is deserving of standing out from the crowd. Let's
explore options that reflect this unique offering.

Alternatively, we can reduce the amount of brand color we use in the UI if
user distraction is what you're most concerned about.

Best,
- Eli
