Hi all,
I proposed two solutions for issue 14725: [1] and [2]. Both can be
obtained using the prototype I'm using as a case study (OOo m204 patched
with the stuff available in issue 53420, desc12 [3]).
Solution [1] needs to use some manual editing of the indexes after
generation, but the two TOC (one TOC for the document body chapters and
another TOC for the list of appendices) can have hyperlink and the
generate PDF looks fine, solution [2] uses some manual adaptation of the
indexes as well but can't be used to generate a good looking PDF.
To obtain the document in example [1] fully automatically it should be
possible to generate the indexes using some kind of “different chapter
scope” table of content source.
Currently a kind of “another chapter or other chapters” scope is not
possible, the scope for table of contents currently available is for
“entire document” or “current chapter” (ODF 1.0: 7.3.1 Index scope) only
(unless I miss something...).
Comments are of course welcome :-).
