Hi,
version 2 is out now since 1 1/2 years, but the records of the
bibliography database still show only literature which fits to version 1.x.
I remember a discussion a few months ago, where some community members
wanted to remove all records from the database, because atm users of the
bibliography database have to delete them manually. On the other hand
this database is often used as example (I do so during my courses), so I
suggest following:
Remove all records from biblio.dbf, add a second file samples.dbf to
collect literature for OOo 2x. I think, this has also a positive
marketing effect, if users see, that there is much literature about OOo 2.
If you agree, I would like to update the database records and ask other
native-lang projects to provide lists with their literature (already
done for german and partially for english).
As far as I know, the bibliography database is not localized, so we
would collect all available literature in different languages in one
database table. May be I should use the field "Custom1" for adding the
language?
