Dear developers, please consider issue 17171. While the problem does not look severe, it can cause data loss - if user deletes autogenerated paragraph break, next paragraph is silently lost and Undo will not recover lost data. Also very nasty usage scenario is when somebody imports .doc, prints out several hundred pages and binds several copies only to discover that text layout is not intended.
Also the problem greatly affects scientific and academic environments - they need to follow certain rules and just can't introduce paragraph breaks on a whim of word processor. Academic environments are very important as they basically set person's habits for good part of life and we want to be in there. Thanks a lot for your attention. WBR, K.
