liberty of presentig to you the list of some of our issues with tables.
While not all of them might be related to new model, we still may
consider them for 2.3 (while code in CVS and knowledge in minds are
still hot).

outright embarrassing defect
13791 ("Text flowing around table should not require frame") - 18 dupes,
21 vote
24500 ("Pasting table content into existing writer tables") - 11 dupes,
36 votes
61946 ("Double-borders applied to a table from table tool bar have
vanished when document is reopened.") - 3 dupes, 5 votes (not
impressive, I know).
9860 ("Table has no top border when over 2+ pages") and apparent dup
52718 ("No top table border shown after page break") - 5 dupes, 8 votes
combined.
3692 ("Implement 90 deg text rotation in table cells") - 16 dupes, 16
votes (combined with 25140).
25680 ("Word import/export for 'Tables in tables'") - 23 dupes, 21 vote,
once targeted for OOo 2.0.1.
44616 ("impossible to "paste as" a table into a cell as nested table") -
once targeted for OOo 2.0.2.
49868 ("WW8: vertical text does not fit into table cell") - 1 dupe, 4
votes
68096 ("WW8: A table of MxN cells in vertical writing is exported to NxM
in Word.")
