On Windows I opened the provided website using Firefox. I selected all via "Ctrl + A" and copied the whole website content - "Ctrl + C". Then I opened a new Writer document (OpenOffice.org 2.2) and pasted the clipboard content via "Paste Special - HTML Format" and the pictures are visible. Do you have a valid Internet configuration in your OpenOffice.org version - see Menu Tools - Options - Internet - Proxy?
