Since we are 5 yrs later and some things changed in OOo code, I would
like to ask if this situation still holds.
There is no complete redesign of the table concept necessary. But there
are a lot of potential problems in our code if we simply change the
selection mechanism.
My current plan is to tackle this problem for OOo3.0 beta. I will change
this selection mechanism and solve all immediately occurring problems.
This would be great!
But then this changes have to be tested very well because I expect side
effects which I will not be able to find during the implementation itself.
That's why we need a real beta phase for this issues (7747 and 17949).
OK, I do know some people willing to help with testing!
I will keep them informed.
