There should be one filter only. This filter should display all styles
linked with top parent filter contains some text in the style name.
Something like this ...

 My Company Styles
  |-- Headings Styles
  | |-- My Heading 1
  | |-- My Heading 2
  |-- Another style group
  | |-- Style x
  | |-- Style y

... I would like to see all styles linked to "My Company Styles"
style, because it contains word "Company".

So, if I understood you correctly, there's no way how to add this kind
of filter by extension. I have to modify the OpenOffice.org source
code. This is not the best approach for me :(

Is there a plan for the future, so, we can add this filter by
extension? Should I fill some issues for this?

Regards,
Robert
