Hi Mathias,
yes, copy, paste the HTML works quite well, great.
But I think there is one problem left: if in the meantime there was
another edit, there is no indication that there's a conflict. Is this a
know issue or a bug ?
This is not nice but in current state it is no bug. The current
extension allows pure export, in other words it takes the current OOo
document and exports it to Wiki. The question is what is ¨meantime¨ in
this context? The time from the last document opening or the time from
the document creation? From my point of view with a pure export it is
impossible to detect a conflict in general.
From other side there was already a suggestion to provide a message if
an existing page is overwritten. That would mean removing of the current
notification about creation of a new page. Both of the messages make no
sense since the user would get the message each time he exports to a
wiki server ( either overwrite or creation of new page message ). This
is planned but can be done only for the next translation step as I
understood. I have submitted a new issue for this:
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=88682
Also I would like to provide the last build in the extensions repository
as a Developer Snapshot, but I cannot find the feature mail for it. Is
there something like a feature description available ?
Sorry, I had forgot to send the feature mail, I have just sent it.
The specification can be found using the following link
http://specs.openoffice.org/writer/extensions/MediaWikiExtension.odt
The extensions help should be also useful to get information regarding
features supported by the extension.
Regards,
Mikhail.
