Hello, all, I want to tell you that W3C published "Requirements for Japanese Text Layout". This is a very nice comprehensive document. It covers the whole requirements of Japanese text in a very organized way. You can also find the background of Japanese, examples of layout, glossary and so on.
You know, when I sent you patches specifiec to Japanese, I've explained many things so far about Japanese to convince you that my patch is desired by users in Japan. However, from now on, we would refer to this document to explain what is required to Japanese text layout. You don't need to read the whole this document now, but please keep in mind that now we have the standard and we would sometimes refer to it. http://www.w3.org/TR/2009/NOTE-jlreq-20090604/ Best regards, -- Japanese Native Language Project Takashi NAKAMOTO <[email protected]> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
