Ruwan I was planning to get the Infra team to do a proper HTTP 302 redirect, which was done for the incubator URL as well.
The only problem with JavaScript is some wierd paranoid people block it. For instance I run the Firefox plugin NoScript which is like a firewall for JS... it only runs scripts when you specifically allow them.
