The Financial Information eXchange (FIX) Protocol is a messaging standard
developed specifically for the real-time electronic exchange of securities
transactions. FIX is a public-domain specification owned and maintained by FIX
Protocol, Ltd. (http://www.fixprotocol.org)
FIX protocol has a large user base and is a protocol developed by the
collaborative effort of banks, broker-dealers, exchanges, industry utilities
and associations, institutional investors, and IT providers around the world.
Having support for this protocol in Apache Synapse would certainly make Synapse
more useful and valuable.
