Fix For: 1.2
The Debian distribution and Debian based distributions (such as Ubuntu) are
widely used in the Linux world. Distributing Synapse as a Debian package would
make installing and upgrading Synapse on these platforms a lot easier. It would
also simplify problem resolution as the package installs Synapse in a well
defined way.
If there are no major problems, this could be ready for the 1.2 release.
