https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SYNAPSE-422 was fixed by me a few days
back, and seems related to this.
On the question "What us the best place for this property is that inside the
send or inside the endpoint", there will be NO distinction on this.. what we
will do is make it possible to set some properties within send and endpoint,
instead of as property mediator calls.
