+1 yes ,we should better go with versioned Synapse artifacts (XML based).. yes
you are right it is a binary artifact . However it is in some sense already
versioned. For example 2 libraries with same name but different package names
(a library artifact has top level artifacts.xml which defines Library "name"
and "package") can be deployed at the same time.. Hence IMO synapse artifacts
contained by them can be considered as automatically versioned artifacts as
well. However i think possibly it can be consistent with the versioning
syntactics under this scheme..
